Joshua M. Campbell

Joshua Campbell is the president and founder of First Place Financial Group
located in the financial district of Montgomery, Alabama. He serves as a
financial services professional to individuals, business owners, as well as
organizations throughout the community.

Throughout his career, Joshua has been recognized as an accomplished producer in the insurance and financial services industry.  He has received many awards including the Premier Executive Council elite sales force, Agent of the Year, Platinum and Top Producer in the African American Market, and countless other awards.  As a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table, he is ranked among the top 1% of all producers in the world.

Joshua began his career with New York Life Insurance Company where he quickly ascended as one of the top new organization agents in the company, often leading the state of Alabama and the South Central Zone in production and new business acquisition.  After just three months with the company he was featured in the “Ambassador” magazine by the African American market as one of the top four agents in the entire country.  He also led the state of Alabama and the Montgomery office as the leading New Org agent in life and annuity production as well as number of cases written for his entire career as an agent with the company.  Because of his success, he was promoted to become a Partner in the Montgomery office recruiting and developing other agents.  He became one of the top Partners in the company before he left New York Life in 2016 to grow his independent insurance and financial services firm.

Campbell was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama. The youngest of six,
his parents taught him entrepreneurship and the importance of service to
other people. He enjoyed playing sports and learned how to become a leader
at a very young age. After graduating high school Joshua went on to attend
college at Troy University, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in
Business Administration. He currently holds both Series 6 and 63 securities
registrations, as well as a Life and Health Insurance license in several
states throughout the US.

Campbell is also a licensed and ordained minister where he serves in his church and the community in several different ways.  He has a desire to help people through his philanthropic works and through financial education.  He is also a dedicated member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated.  He is married to Alicia and together they have two wonderful children, Joshua and Kenedee.
